Carpenter’s Workshop

More than a “men’s shed”, the Carpenter’s Workshop, in the grounds of Elanora Uniting Church, is a non profit group for men and women from the local community who want to learn or practise skills in woodwork.

The workshop is staffed by a group of retired tradesmen who volunteer their services, and members get to use the first class tools and equipment in the workshop for wood turning, cabinet making and carpentry for their own projects. To cover costs, there is an annual membership fee of $25 plus a daily attendance fee of $7 per day for the first two days each week. A third day in the same week will be free. So the maximum amount payable by a member who comes along for three days in the same week will only be $14!
