More than a “men’s shed”, the Carpenter’s Workshop, in the grounds of Elanora Uniting Church, is a non-profit group for men and women from the local community who want to learn or practise skills in woodwork.

The workshop is staffed by a group of retired tradesmen who volunteer their services, and members get to use the first-class tools and equipment in the workshop for woodturning, cabinet making and carpentry for their own projects. To cover costs, there is an annual membership fee of $25 plus a daily attendance fee of $8 per day for the first two days each week. A third day in the same week will be free. So the maximum amount payable by a member who comes along for three days in the same week will only be $16!

Workshop Hours

8am to 12pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays.
